Is GPS tracking available in Mobile Time Tracker application?

Yes, GPS tracking is available for Mobile Time Tracker Application.


Please follow the process below and enable GPS tracking for Mobile Time Tracker Users
 
  • Log in to Salesforce as Administrator
  • From App Launcher, click the "Mobile Time Tracker Tile"
  • You see all Mobile Time Tracker related tabs
  • Click the TT Apps Tab
  • From All view list, search for the App Key for which you need to enable GPS tracking
  • Click on the App Name for the selected App Key
  • Click the Config Button
  • Go to Check In Tab
  • Select (Check) the Check box Location Tracking on Clock-In/Out
This is to record location of Mobile Time Users on Clock-In/Out


Follow the procedure below to enable Location tracking for Check-In and Check-Out for Mobile Time Tracker Individual Users
 
  • Log in to Salesforce as Administrator
  • From App Launcher, click the "Mobile Time Tracker Tile"
  • You see all Mobile Time Tracker related tabs
  • Click the TT Apps Tab
  • From All view list, search for the App Key for which you need to enable GPS tracking
  • Click on the App Name for the selected App Key
  • Click the Config Button
  • Go to Check In Tab
  • Click Individual Check-in Tab
  • Select Check Type Job
  • Select the (Check) the Check-box Location Tracking required at Start and Location Tracking Required at End (Check the check-box for Start and End location if location tracking is required for both, or select only for Start or End location)
  • Click the Save button to save the changes.



Follow the procedure below to enable Location tracking on Check-In and Check-Out for Job and Travel for Team Mobile Time Tracker Users
 
  • Log in to Salesforce as Administrator
  • From App Launcher, click the "Mobile Time Tracker Tile"
  • You see all Mobile Time Tracker related tabs
  • Click the TT Apps Tab
  • From All view list, search for the App Key for which you need to enable GPS tracking
  • Click on the App Name for the selected App Key
  • Click the Config Button
  • Go to Check In Tab
  • Click Team Check-in Tab
  • Select Check Type Job or Travel
  • Select the (Check) the Check-box Location Tracking required at Start and Location Tracking Required at End (Check the check-box for Start and End location if location tracking is required for both, or select only for Start or End location)
  • Click the Save button to save the changes
  • By default the Config screen has the option to track location for Job and Travel if you require location tracking for another Check In type, then create Check in types in Salesforce for Time Tracker Users and then enable location tracking for a new check-in types.
