How do a new Volunteer start using V4S Personal?

New volunteers can install V4S Personal on their mobile phones and register themselves as volunteers of your organization.

If your Salesforce Admin has already created V4S Mobile Users,
  1. You can Sign up and Check in for Jobs/Shifts using your Email Id on the V4S Kiosk. You should use the Email ID which is saved in Salesforce for your Contact records.
  2. You can use App Key, Email Id and password to login to the V4S Personal and Sign up and Check in for Shifts. You should use the Email ID which is saved in Salesforce for your Contact records.
If your Salesforce Admin has not yet created V4S Mobile User for you, please follow the steps below to register as a volunteer to start using the V4S application
  • Download the V4S Personal mobile app from the Google Play Store or from the iTunes Store on to your mobile phone.
  • Install the app on your mobile phone
  • Open the app once it is installed
  • It takes you to the Registration page. You will need the following on your registration page:
    • the App Key (you can get the App Key from your Salesforce admin)
    • Your Email ID
    • Password (any password which you can remember easily for future logins.)
  • A new Contact details and ID will be created in Salesforce once you submit all above details.
  • Now you should be able to login to V4S Personal and use it to Sign Up/Check in for Jobs and Shifts. And also to track the time that you volunteer.
Above procedure must be followed when your Salesforce Admin has not created V4S Mobile Users.
