How do I track payroll and billing rates for the Time Tracker Users?

Last Updated: Feb 17, 2018 03:36AM PST
You can now track payroll and billing rates for the dftly Time Tracker users by updating two related fields in the Time Tracker User record. The two fields that you need to use are:

Hourly Loaded Cost: Used to calculate the amount payable to Time Tracker User
Hourly Billing Rate: Used to calculate the amount to be billed on the project that s/he is working on

If you have already created the Time Tracker users in the dftly Time Tracker User record, simply Edit the record to add in data for these fields. If you are creating a new user, then make sure that you add in the data for these fields. Click here for more details on creating the dftly Time Tracker Users.

dftly Time Tracker automatically updates the Total Hours Worked, Amount Payable, Amount to be billed, based on the hours check in/out on the Time Tracker detail records on the dftly Time Tracker User record.

dftly Time Tracker automatically rolls up Total Hours. Billable Amount and Fully Loaded cost are visible on all the pages that the Time Tracker User selected while Checking in.

For example, if the user had selected Project, Task and Worktype fields at the time of Check in and Check Out, you see Total Hours, Billable Amount and Fully Loaded Cost under Project, Task and Worktype pages.
