How do I add Guest to an Event from V4S Kiosk?

Events must be created as Shifts in Salesforce and the events (Shifts) show up on the V4S Kiosk application on the event date. This is because the V4S Kiosk application is meant to display only Current days Jobs/Shifts

More information is given below for adding Guest to Events
  • Login to V4S Kiosk as an Event User (V4S Mobile user must be enabled with "Is Events User" button on V4S Mobile User record, only then the V4S Kiosk user can access the events tabs) click here to know more about creating Events user
  • From Menu Tab click the Event Today Tab
  • You see events tile with details of Event Name and Event ID (Shift ID)
  • Click the Yellow(Contact) button
  • The screen is then redirected to the Events details page which shows the details of Guests who have already signed up for today's Event
  • To add Guests of an attendee click the + button shown on the Attendee tile, search for Attendee name in the list and click the +Guest button
  • The screen is diverted to the Search Contact screen
  • If the Guest is already there as Salesforce contact in your org, then search for the Contact (Guest) with Contact Name, Email ID or with the Phone number as entered in their Salesforce contact and click search
  • The Guest details are shown on the screen with Check-In button
  • Click the Check-in button
  • Now the Guest is added and Checked in for the Event
You can also add guest using the + Button shown at the bottom of the screen
  • From Attendee Today Tab
  • Click the + button which is at the bottom of the Events screen
  • The page is redirected to Search screen,
  • If the Guest is already there as Salesforce contact in the org, then search for the Guest and check them in

For Adding new Individual Guest
  • Click the + button on the Attendee Today Tab
  • Again click the + button which is at the top of the Add attendee screen
  • Fill in the details about Guest on the screen
  • Click the Add button
  • Now Individual  Guest is added to an event

For adding Multiple attendees for an Event
  • Click the +++ button on the Add Attendee Screen
  • Enter First Name, Last Name, Phone Number and Email ID of Guests
  • Click the Add button
  • Now New Contacts get created in Salesforce and they are added to the Event as Guests.
