What are the best practices in V4S Mobile?

The best practice is to set a unique/different email ID for all the V4S Kiosk Users.

We recommend setting up of unique email IDs for the Contacts in Salesforce because if the same email ID is set for multiple contacts (V4S Kiosk Users) then the volunteer manager who tries to log in to the V4S kiosk application might see the issues mentioned below
  1. V4S Kiosk application is with auto-sync every 30 minutes, the app syncs with Salesforce every 30 minutes automatically to get all the data from Salesforce related to jobs and shifts, volunteers, etc., and updates it on V4S Kiosk application and vice versa.
    • If multiple V4S Kiosk users have logged in to the V4S Kiosk application using the same email ID, only one log in stays logged in and automatically get logged out on other devices when the auto-sync happens
  2. If the same email ID is used to log in to the V4S Kiosk application, then the login also fails as the same email is stored for multiple Contacts and the app does not know which Contact must be logged in.
The best practice is to add a unique email ID for all the Volunteer Managers who logs in to the V4S Kiosk application.
